Mission Statement

The St. Louis Old English Sheepdog Club is devoted to promoting and protecting the welfare and best interests of the Old English Sheepdog breed and its owners. The club supports and encourages educating the public and providing information about Old English Sheepdogs, their characteristics, and the elements needed for successful Old English Sheepdog ownership. Club members seek to advance the interests of the breed through encouragement of responsible breeding including adherence to the club's code of ethics, support of rescue and by participating in activities that bring the breeds natural qualities to perfection through shows and trials; that afford friendship with fellow Old English Sheepdog lovers; and provide opportunities to help and befriend novice owners.
